The charity enlisted the help of The Opcyon Design Company to build the stand, which was designed by experiential artist and designer Richard Hartnell originally for The Lord Mayor's Show in November 2013.
Brand ambassadors stood by the stand were also on hand to raise awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer, as well promoting early diagnosis. The Lord Mayor of London Fiona Woolf also presented a cheque for £125,000 to the charity on the stand as part of the activity.
Beating Bowel Cancer also encouraged Londoners to give £2 donations to charity collectors situated in every tube and rail station located within the City boundary.
