The shave-off event saw those who booked a place at one of the stores receive a shave and complimentary Carlsberg beer for 99p – an experience that is usually priced at £22.50.
The event kicked off from 10am at stores in locations including Soho, Fitzrovia, Covent Garden, Holborn, Marylebone and St Paul's, and it came to an end at 6pm.
The event sought to raise awareness of the annual Movember campaign, with all funds from the shaves to be donated to men’s charity, The Movember Foundation.
The brand also hosted a media event last Friday (30 October), which saw celebrities and media personalities receive a shave and complimentary beverage all in the name of charity.
Carlsberg launched a new male grooming range alongside the event, with proceeds from the sale of products to similarly be donated to The Movember Foundation.
The range includes shaving gel, moustache cream and aftershave cream products, all of which are infused with freeze-dried, powdered beer.
Carlsberg devised a drinkable billboard in east London earlier this year, which formed part of its ‘Probably the best beer in the world’ campaign.
