Experiential marketing agency Square Melon has been organising the tour on behalf of the drinks brand. The Christmas truck will be visiting 45 locations throughout December to bring to life Coca-Cola’s ‘Holiday’s are Coming’ Christmas marketing and advertising campaign.

Two branded Christmas trucks stopped off at Elgin, in Scotland, and Manchester’s Trafford Centre last Friday (28 November), with 4,616 and 10,320 members of the public visiting the activation respectively.

Perth welcomed more than 11,000 people to the Coca-Cola Christmas truck activation on Saturday (29 November), while Preston saw over 10,700 consumers gather on the same day to get up close to the festive vehicle.

On Sunday (30 November), more than 8,900 residents of Ayr turned out to see the Christmas truck activation, as well as 8,568 people at Manchester’s Eastlands Asda store.

At each stop, members of the public will have the chance to take pictures with the truck as it lights up, whilst enjoying a snowy winter wonderland setting and a bottle of Coca-Cola or Diet Coke as a choir sings Christmas hits.
