The chocolate company's branded Citroën H van was based outside the CHQ building in Dublin's financial district for the first day of the Irish tour. It is set to visit Blanchardstown Centre, Blackrock Centre, Pavilions Shopping Centre and Dundrum Town Centre over the remaining four days.
The aforementioned locations have been chosen due to their proximity to stores to encourage people to purchase products, and drive brand awareness and product sampling.
Green & Black’s is working work with local taste experts to recreate local recipes, and visitors will be able to sample the new Thin range.
The tour forms part of the brand's wider £2m integrated marketing campaign, which encompasses TV, print, PR and event sponsorship.
Mark Dunn, client services director at Purity, said: "The tour provides a fantastic opportunity to raise brand awareness among consumers in Ireland’s largest city, as well as develop relationships with some of Dublin’s key retailers."
Green & Black’s launched the nationwide tour on 23 April with an event at Portobello Market. Following the activation in Ireland, the tour will return to England from September to December.
