The activation comes in advance of the launch of the new Guitar Hero Live game in October, offering wannabe stars the chance to test out the new game in The Amp installation.
The game brand partnered with agency Sense to develop the two-storey structure. The downstairs studio provided festival-goers with the opportunity to play the game, while talent spotters selecting lucky individuals to go upstairs for a VIP experience.
Nick Swift, senior account director at Sense told Event: "Guitar Hero Live rocked out at Bestival’s Summer of Love, with over 8,000 festival-goers experiencing exclusive game play in the giant amp.
"Prospective Guitar Hero talent was cherry-picked out of the waiting queues and taken upstairs to the VIP room, complete with devoted fans grabbing selfies, music journos looking for their latest scoop and of course, their own personal rider."
