Banking and finance brand HSBC will launch its Sevens Village on 7 April, inviting guests and rugby fans to experience the fun which surrounds the sport.

The Sevens Village will feature live screenings of every match, and evening entertainment including live music from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

In addition, the HSBC7s Zone will include the HSBC Rugby Challenge, allowing competitors to test their strength and accuracy. Guests will be able to test their kicking skills against the clock, and take part in a rugby sevens photo experience where guests will be photographed diving over the try line.

The Sevens Village will also give visitors the chance to take part in interactive activities, enjoy the Kids Zone with arts, crafts and face painting and meet Olympic gold medal-winning coach Ben Ryan, rugby legends Brian O’Driscoll, Jason Robinson, George Gregan and Gavin Hastings and Wai Bei, the Hong Kong rugby team mascot.

The Sevens Village will be open from 7-9 April.

HSBC also launched its Try Rugby activation in Hong Kong last week, forming another part of the brand's sponsorship of the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens. Last year, the brand staged a range of activations as part of its sponsorship of the Wimbledon Championships
