Italian coffee brand Lavazza has highlighted its sponsorship of the Wimbledon championships with the creation of a mobile pop-up café at the sporting venue.

The Lavazza Q Café has been positioned next to the infamous Wimbledon queue, where would-be spectators queue for hours in the hope of getting a ticket for the competition on the day of play.

The outlet will be serving coffees to tennis fans throughout the competition, including the limited edition Frozen Espression Granita, which was created especially for the sporting event.

Yesterday (25 June), special-guest baristas Judy Murray, tennis coach and mother of Andy Murray, and Toni Nadal, tennis coach and uncle of Rafael Nadal, were serving the drinks.

Lavazza, who has sponsored Wimbledon since 2011, has set up over 60 serving points throughout the venue, and 600 specially-trained baristas will be working for the coffee company during the tournament.
