Designed as part of the automotive company’s #Hibernot campaign, which is encouraging families and friends to embrace winter activities, the event saw 250 invited guests gather in the grounds of Broughton Hall estate. RKCR led a cross-agency team to produce the event.
Driving enthusiast Martin developed a bespoke gourmet menu and cooked live, serving up food such as the 'Land Rover burger' and smokey mutton subs with crispy lamb breast, chargrilled pineapple with black pepper, rum and maple syrup.
Singer and Strictly Come Dancing star Pixie Lott was on hand to perform an acoustic set, having recently tested out Land Rover’s snow experience at a separate #Hibernot event on 10 January.
There were also a number of outdoor activities available to try, including a treasure hunt, a remote control Land Rover experience and mini speedboating on the lake.
As part of the campaign, Land Rover dealers throughout the country will be hosting their own winter barbecues.
Laura Scwab, Land Rover’s marketing director, said: "We’re embracing winter and encouraging people to get outside and enjoy Britain in the colder months. What better way to finish January than with a celebration of the great outdoors."
