Housed in the basement of the London Edition hotel in Soho, the Perrier-Jouët Fleurs des Rêves four-day pop-up allowed visitors to create their own colour-changing flowers.

The ticketed workshops saw guests hand paint petals using thermochromatic ink, as well as learn about floriography - the art of giving more specific meanings to flowers - and sample champagne.

The set was inspired by the 1890s Parisian salons and the greenhouses of the House of Perrier-Jouët. It featured video art, innovative lighting, perfumed crystal fluids and a choreographed playlist, which became 'more lurid, profane and psychedelic' as each session progressed.

Bompas & Parr claims that the colour-changing flowers created are the first in the world.

Hamish Millar, senior brand manager at Perrier-Jouët, said: "These thermochromatic flowers created by Bompas & Parr represent our innate philosophy perfectly and complement the element of surprise and ephemerality of nature, which Perrier-Jouët Fleur des Rêves represents."
