In pictures: Pringles launches 'festival within a festival' at V

Kellogg's-owned snack brand Pringles took its Party Tour to V Festival last weekend (16-17 August), at Hylands Park in Chelmsford.

Dubbed by previous visitors as a ‘festival within a festival', the activation created a party vibe for guests. Games such as Twister and limbo-dancing with Pringles tubes were on offer to play, as well as Frisbee with Pringles tops in return for prizes.

Visitors to the installation could have photos of themselves taken in a cut-out cardboard picture of a Volkswagen camper van, while a real version of the vehicle sporting a giant tube of Pringles acted as the centrepiece of the activation. Pringles' crisp products were also available to sample, as was the Kellogg’s brand’s new party speakers.

The company’s moustached mascot Julius Pringles also made an appearance and danced with guests.

Kellogg’s has developed the Pringles Party Tour activation with German events agency Zerotwonine as an integrated part of the snack brand’s TV, digital and in-store campaigns. The experiential festival aspect has toured a number of European festivals this year, including Benicassim and Ibiza Rocks in Spain, and Rock ‘n’ Heim in Germany.
