In pictures: Propercorn joins forces with Bompas & Parr for Institute of Flavour

Propercorn joined forces with culinary architects Bompas & Parr for its latest campaign, which saw a two-day event take place in London's Soho from 17-18 June.


The popcorn brand invited consumers to explore the Institute of Flavour, which took them on a sensory journey into seasoning, with the aim of helping Propercorn to find a new limited edition flavour.

The range of flavours created at the event include garden pea, jalapeno and garlic salt; nettle, truffle salt and parmesan; honey, cacao and Himalayan sea salt; beetroot and balsamic vinegar; kimchi, smoke and truffle salt and violet, thyme and honey.

Consumers were able to enter their creations either online or at the event, for the chance of their flavour to be made and listed in stores across the UK and Ireland. Each flavour will be entered into a month-long nationwide ‘crowdseasoning’ competition.

A winner from the event will be announced this week, automatically going through to the finals alongside other regional winners from online. The overall winner will be revealed on 22 July after a public vote.
