Betway has been seeing pitches yesterday and today, through the AAR, with Leagas Delaney, McCann London, Saatchi & Saatchi London and TBWA\London participating. Above & Beyond, the incumbent, is not repitching.

A result on SimplyBe, the plus-size clothing sister brand to JD Williams, is imminent. Manchester's Love is the incumbent.

OMD UK has landed Lidl's estimated £70m strategic media planning account after a competitive review. Lidl moved both the planning and buying to Starcom from Omnicom’s now defunct agency M2M in 2015, but signalled it wanted to take a fresh approach to its media planning earlier this year, after saying that it was reducing its spend on digital media.

MSQ Partners has been appointed by Hertz Europe to run a year-long, fully integrated campaign to celebrate the company’s centenary, following a competitive pitch. The campaign includes content, digital, events, PR and partnerships. Adam & Eve/DDB last worked with the brand until the end of 2016.

The Department for Education has appointed Havas London to handle its teacher recruitment account after a final pitch round involving five agencies including Ogilvy. The win is the first piece of government business for the agency, which won a place on the roster in 2016. The account was previously handled by FCB Inferno, which did not repitch.

Gluten-free lifestyle brand Genius Foods has appointed MediaCom Edinburgh to handle its media planning and buying business, following a recent competitive pitch. The7stars previously worked on the business.

Blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan has picked Drum, Omnicom Media Group UK’s creative and content agency, as its creative agency after a review run through Creativebrief. There was no incumbent.

TBWA\Manchester has won a pitch against three undisclosed agencies for a strategic brand project, not previously assigned to any agency, for Swinton Group. It will encompass all facets of the insurance brokers’ business: Swinton Insurance, Swinton Business, Safeguard and Scenic.
