Pitch update: Adidas, Bank of England, Morrisons

The Bank of England held pitches on Tuesday and Wednesday this week as it searches for an advertising agency to help promote the new plastic £5 note.

Shops that are in with a chance of walking away with the money are DLKW Lowe, George & Dragon, Kindred, McCann London and Ogilvy & Mather.

Adidasglobal CRM review is in full flight. Havas Helia and M&C Saatchi’s Lida are understood to be involved in the process. Formal pitches will take place in mid-November at Adidas’ headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

Morrisons has begun tissue meetings with the agencies competing for its advertising account. CHI & Partners, Grey London, J Walter Thompson, Publicis and WCRS are understood to be involved in the review. The process is being led by Mike Hoban, Morrisons’ brand and communications director.
