The GambleAware pitch to create a £7m public awareness ad campaign is taking place in early June and will be contested between 18 Feet & Rising, M&C Saatchi and Mother. The brief does not affect 18 Feet & Rising’s status as retained agency for the gambling awareness charity.

Red Bull has held final pitches with agencies hoping to win its global ad brief for Amaphiko, its social enterprise incubator programme.

American Express is poised to review its global media agency arrangements, putting 20-year incumbent Mindshare on alert.

House of Fraser has launched a review of its £10m advertising account after splitting with incumbent 18 Feet & Rising.

Chambord, the French black raspberry liqueur brand, has kicked off a review of its creative account ahead of an upcoming through-the-line advertising campaign. There is no incumbent agency but the brand previously worked with Wieden & Kennedy, which had been appointed global creative agency in 2014. The review is being run through Creativebrief.

Mango, the fashion brand, has approached agencies with a brief for a new campaign that "enhances brand awareness". The campaign idea will be activated globally and be used in-store, in PR and social media channels as well as advertising. There is no incumbent.

Wins

PHD has won HSBC's estimated $400m (£298m) global media planning and buying account. The account will move to the Omnicom agency from WPP's Mindshare, which has held the business for 13 years. PHD beat Mindshare and Dentsu Aegis Network in a three-way pitch.

Diageo has appointed VML London as global digital agency for Baileys following a competitive pitch. There is no incumbent.

Starbucks has appointed Havas Helia as the coffee-shop giant's first European-wide customer engagement agency, following a competitive pitch. Creativebrief assisted with the review. 

The Royal Air Force and Royal Navy have re-appointed Engine to handle their combined advertising
account, following a statutory review overseen by the Crown Commercial Service. Engine’s creative agency WCRS will lead the account, delivering multi-channel recruitment campaigns over the next three years.

Art Fund, the national art charity fundraiser, has appointed MullenLowe Mediahub as its media planning and buying agency of record, replacing incumbent the7stars. Art Fund previously worked with 101 before the agency was acquired by MullenLowe London. 

Nostalgic global sports brand company Mitchell & Ness International has appointed integrated agency Mercieca to manage all its above- and below-the-line comms including PR, design, experiential and influencer engagement in the UK. There is no incumbent. The brief includes activation of branded product and license partnerships for US basketball leagues the NBA and the NCAA.
