Mother has pulled out of the PG Tips ad review. The Unilever brand has been meeting with agencies on its roster including Adam & Eve/DDB and Lola MullenLowe this week for pitches.

Dentsu is in pole position to win Jaguar Land Rover's estimated $500m (£374m) global media accountWPP’s Mindshare has held the account for 17 years. 

A result is expected just before Christmas in the creative pitch for food box company Gousto, after a final shoot-out between a trio of agencies. The London-headquartered brand is looking to hire its first agency partner, having previously only run performance marketing. It is understood to be preparing a £2m campaign to take its brand to the next level. The pitch has been led by Gousto's founder and chief executive Timo Boldt.

Edrington whisky brand The Macallan is expected to appoint an agency imminently after agencies pitched for its global creative account last week. AAR is handling the process and there is no incumbent.

EDF Hoppy, EDF Energy’s new digital home platform, has shortlisted agencies for its creative review. The brand is expected to make a decision in January.

Agencies going for the Tourism Ireland account will need to make initial submissions by the end of January. Final pitches are set to take place in March, with a decision expected to be made in May. The body is searching for new creative and media agencies with the help of Creativebrief. The incumbents on the account are Publicis London and Dentsu Aegis Network agencies Carat and iProspect.

Radioplayer, the radio platform, is searching for an agency to work on its back-end technology. Agencies will need to submit their application for the tender by 30 January. The incumbent is 7Digital.

The Royal British Legion is on the hunt for an agency to create a campaign to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War, which takes place on Remembrance Day next year. The review is going through Creativebrief.

Microsoft is holding a closed pitch for its global media account. The business has been held by Dentsu Aegis Network for four years.

Trebles all round at McCann which has picked up the Chivas Regal ad account after a four-way shootout against Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Crispin Porter & Bogusky and Wieden & Kennedy. Incumbent agency Havas London withdrew from the process in November.

Paddy Power has moved its ad account to Chime Sports Marketing after a four-year relationship with Lucky Generals, which declined to repitch. WCRS has also been appointed to work on a one-off project for 2018.

Fold7 has won the global Carlsberg business from incumbent 72andSunny Amsterdam. Fold7 has held the UK account for five years and will be rolling out its Danish repositioning for the brand globally throughout 2018.

Takeaway food app Deliveroo has appointed the7stars to its £10m media planning and buying business in the UK and Ireland. The incumbent is MediaCom.

Peroni Nastro Azzuro, the premium Italian lager brand owned by Asahi Group, has handed its global creative account to Leagas Delaney. The agency fought off competition from Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Droga5. The pitch was run through The Observatory International and the incumbent is The Bank.

Droga5 has picked up the global creative account for Asahi Super Dry after a competitive pitch process.

Asset management company Schroders has appointed J Walter Thompson London as its global integrated creative agency after a competitive pitch. The company previously worked with a roster of agencies, including Mohawk in the UK.

MC&C Media has won the media account for Flight Centre UK, the UK arm of Flight Centre Travel Group. Arena Media is the incumbent.

Dreams has appointed Be Heard to handle its social media channels. Be Heard agencies Kameleon and agenda21 will take responsibility for content and analytics, respectively. Be Heard won the business after a competitive pitch. There was no incumbent on the account.
