Pitch update: Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer, easyJet, Nutmeg

Sainsbury's is whittling down its ad agency shortlist to either two or three shops, depending on who you talk to.

Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, the 35-year incumbent, is competing against Mother, MullenLowe London and Wieden & Kennedy.

Grey London, The & Partnership, VCCP and incumbent Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R pitched for Marks & Spencer last week and are waiting for feedback.

Shops vying for easyJet’s pan-European CRM account should hear this week if they have made it to the pitches. EasyJet called a review last month, putting incumbent Havas Helia on alert.

Agencies are in talks with the National Army Museum, which is on the hunt for communications support to launch its new visitor attraction in spring 2017. The museum is aiming to speak to creative, media and PR shops to help increase visitors to its new galleries.

Nutmeg, the online investment management service, has appointed AMV BBDO to launch its first national brand ad campaign, scheduled for the autumn. The agency previously worked with Nutmeg on a project basis.
