Waitrose, which is looking for an ad agency after being dumped by Bartle Bogle Hegarty in favour of Tesco, is holding tissue meetings this week. 18 Feet & Rising, Adam & Eve/DDB, CHI & Partners, Creature, Lucky Generals and WCRS have all been talking to Waitrose. Pitches are expected to begin on 13 April.

Aviva: A&E/DDB and CHI are through to final stage

Adam & Eve/DDB and CHI & Partners are through to the final stage of the Aviva creative pitch, beating competition from DLKW Lowe and M&C Saatchi. The insurance company called the review in January.

Audible, Amazon’s audio-book platform, is hearing pitches from four agencies during 20-21 April. AAR is helping the brand to find a shop to handle digital and social media.

John Ayling & Associates has been appointed to work on brand and fundraising media planning and buying for The Brooke, in conjunction with the creative agency Arthur. The Brooke is an international animal-welfare charity.

JAA, which already oversees media for the Rugby Football Union and the Barbarians, has strengthened its rugby credentials by taking on the media account for the Premiership. There is a £200,000 spend to support next month’s final.
