The seven agencies left in the running for the business are: JWT, Dare, Wieden & Kennedy, Karmarama, The Red Brick Road and the previous incumbents, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and Fallon.
Santander's creative pitch takes place next Tuesday, with the incumbent, WCRS, battling it out against Leo Burnett and Grey. Grey is also among the WPP agencies vying for Vodafone Ireland's advertising business. The others are RKCR/Y&R and CHI & Partners, with a pitch lined up for 9 December.
The final Gu pitch took place this week, with Bartle Bogle Hegarty and DDB vying for the business along with one other small mystery agency. The winning agency will be picked early next week.
It was on again, off again, on again, and now it appears that the Confused.com advertising pitch may be off again. The client, which seems to have met with almost every agency in London in the past few months, is now understood to be unsure whether it will continue with a pitch process at all.
No surprises, then, that the agencies seem to be quickly losing patience with the price comparison brand.
