The results of the research are due to be revealed by the end of this week, meaning that Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R or VCCP could find out by next week whether they have picked up the business or if it's staying at Beattie McGuinness Bungay.
One pitch that's sure to have turned a few agencies' heads is the Ladbrokes advertising review. Word is that a longlist has already been devised, and chemistry meetings are due to be held over the next two weeks. M&C Saatchi looks like putting up a tough fight for it, though, so agencies will have to go some to wrestle it from the long-term incumbent's grasp.
The chemistry meetings with Burger King have been taking place over recent days. Mother, CHI & Partners, Saatchi & Saatchi, Adam & Eve and The Red Brick Road are all still involved.
Muller has shortlisted agencies including Starcom, PHD, Vizeum and the incumbent, MediaCom, to pitch for its £30 million media business across the UK, Italy and the Netherlands.
The incumbent, MediaCom, and ZenithOptimedia are in a final shoot-out for the pan-European Bose account, worth £20 million. Carat had been involved at an earlier stage.
