The incumbent, MediaCom, as well as the competition, Vizeum, ZenithOptimedia and Manning Gottlieb OMD, are recovering from the third stage of presentations for the largest media pitch of the year, Royal Bank of Scotland, with the final leg this Friday.
And it won't necessarily be a "winner takes all" outcome. RBS's four business units - NatWest and RBS, global banking, corporate banking and group communications - stated from the start that the best agency for each of the four businesses will be chosen. RBS remains tight-lipped on timings of when it will put the agencies out of their misery.
Meanwhile, media agencies are recovering from a pitch last week for Air France, in which its international business is up for review. The incumbent, MPG, is understood to have competed against Carat and MediaCom in the final round, which was held at Air France's headquarters in Paris.
It's crunch-time on the £90 million DFS advertising review. Karmarama, Krow, Ogilvy & Mather and VCCP are pitching over the next two days, with a result possible before the end of the month. The AAR has overseen the process.
Agencies competing for the BA.com digital account are keeping their fingers crossed, as a result is due any day now. The wider British Airways digital ad review is still in the early stages, though.
