Could the mighty LG pitch be reaching its conclusion? Not until pitch teams have filed some more travel expenses.

Agencies have been called back for a second round, with duties split across LG businesses. Bartle Bogle Hegarty, DDB and TBWA will contest the LG mobile account, while TBWA and Publicis will scrap for the wider brand brief. Pitches are in three weeks.

A glut of financial services briefs has left new-business managers scratching their heads. Creative Brief is boasting a £17 million piece of domestic business (not Nationwide, Bradford & Bingley or Barclaycard for those in the guessing game). Meanwhile, the AAR has a global financial services brand and wants an agency with expertise in three of the globe's financial cities: London, New York and Beijing. Might these be the seeds of the big Christmas pitch?
