Pixmania seeks ad agency for UK task

Pixmania, the online electrical goods retailer, is looking for an above-the-line agency to create its first branding campaign in the UK.

The company, which is a subsidiary of the photography services business Fotovista, operates in 20 markets across Europe, selling products including TVs, video recorders and cameras, as well as providing a printing service for digital photographs.

The company is based in Paris, but the UK is one of its key markets.

It currently creates press ads showcasing its range of products in the UK, but a Pixmania spokeswoman said: "We are now looking to promote ourselves more as a brand and to really introduce the company in the UK."

Pixmania was launched in 2000 and has recently added five new countries to its area of operation: Poland, Hungary, Greece, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
