Set to Love Hurts by Nazareth, the ad features baby vomit, cat shite, spilled wine, a bloody nose, more cat shite and one short-lived turkey.
"It’s always a mess, but it’s our mess," a voiceover declares as the ad comes to a close.
The campaign launched yesterday (15 November) and runs across TV, social, press and digital out-of-home alongside a plea for the public to share their messy festive moments.
The work was written by Dan Warner and Prabhu Wignarajah, art directed by Jamie Starbuck and Andy Vasey, and directed by Steve Rogers through Somesuch and Revolver. Media is handled by Zenith.
