- Pot Noodle snacks unveils a new television ad campaign this week that continues the prison theme of its 1998 campaign.

The new campaign, created by HHCL & Partners, is inspired by the cult Australian prison drama, Prisoner Cell Block H, and features a woman prisoner with a crazy desire for a Pot Noodle.

The ad opens with prisoner 'Medley' scrubbing the floor and the prison warden 'Mr Brodie' praising her for her meticulous work. The warden announces that he'll be coming to her cell that night to reward her with one of her favourite snacks.

Mention of favourite snacks sets Medley off day-dreaming about her husband smuggling in a pair of Pot Noodle snacks into her cell with them strapped Madonna-style to his podgy chest.

The ad then cuts to her cell and shows Mr Brodie and Medley greedily scoffing a Pot Noodle.
