Poulter brings back Doran and Moran as joint creative heads

Poulter Partners has lured back its former staffers Paul Moran and

Graham Doran to become joint creative directors as part of plans by the

Leeds agency to make creativity a more integral part of its

offering.

The pair, who have also worked at J. Walter Thompson and the then Still

Price Lintas in London, are rejoining their former shop from the Leith

Agency in Edinburgh, where they were involved in the agency's pitch for

the pan-European launch of the new Honda Civic.

Their signing is in line with a restructuring by John Dean, who joined

Poulter as group creative director from the neighbouring Brahm agency in

August last year.

It is built around the concept of 'ideas teams' made up of people with

expertise in a range of disciplines.

Dean said: 'For too long agencies have regarded the creative product as

the last leg of a relay race with clients at the finishing line.'

Doran, a writer, and Moran, his art director, were hired by Poulter

immediately after they completed their graphics and advertising course

at Jacob Kramer College in Leeds. They are now on their third stint at

the agency.
