Profero will develop an international campaign to break later this year. It will share responsibility for implementing the work, which will run in 30 countries, with Plan.net, a German agency that works with Lufthansa on the continent.
Profero, which won the business without a pitch, will implement creative across the UK, Italy, Spain, South America and Asia. Plan.net will work out of Munich and cover regions including Scandinavia, France, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
The work will run in conjunction with a global ad campaign created by McCann Erickson Communications House in Berlin.
The move sees Lufthansa consolidate its global digital ad duties, which until now have been allocated in local markets on a project basis.
In the UK last year, it appointed Intelligent Marketing to create a digital campaign promoting its international destinations to travel agents.
