Gall will lead the agency's planning across its 12 global offices, with an initial focus on helping to evolve Profero's London business.

He will work closely with Elspeth Lynn, who joined the agency last month as its new executive creative director, and works across a client list that includes Getty Images, Johnson & Johnson and Western Union.

During his career, Gall has worked at a number of traditional ad agencies, including JWT and VCCP.

At VCCP, he held roles including head of planning and managing partner, and worked on accounts such as O2 and ING Direct. In January this year, Gall left VCCP to set up his own independent communications consultancy, Gall Consulting.

Daniele Fiandaca, the chief executive of Profero Europe, said: "We're confident that Dale's experience and expertise will help complement the talent that we've already got and provide us with a strong platform to take Profero London to the next level."
