Western International Media has hired a deputy managing director to

take charge of its pounds 25 million Tesco account.

Pru Parkinson will also become account director on Western’s pounds 15

million Weetabix business and oversee the Reebok account.

She moves from her role as media director of Ammirati Puris Lintas,

following the departure of Western’s media director Robbie McIntosh, who

has quit the company. His reasons for leaving are not known.

Parkinson will continue to monitor the accounts for her clients at

Lintas - Nestle, Burger King and P&O Cruises - until a suitable

replacement can be found.

Tim Allnutt, account director on PowerGen and Airtours, also joins

Western’s board, as does Danny Donovan, press buying director, who

becomes account director on Reebok and Tesco.
