The private medical insurance company has contacted four agencies about the brief. The incumbent, Tequila\London, is expected to compete for the business.
The brief is for a multimedia campaign to help to boost PruHealth's position in the market. The healthcare company is increasing its marketing spend by £10 million in 2007 and aims to become the market leader by 2010.
The campaign will incorporate TV brand advertising, direct-response TV, outdoor, direct marketing, press, inserts and online (including e-mail and banner advertising). However, the company is not thought to be talking to any advertising agencies.
Mark Savage, the head of direct sales and marketing at PruHealth, said: "We can confirm we are inviting a number of integrated agencies to pitch for the PruHealth account."
