The account is moving out of Chick Smith Trott following a review against an undisclosed number of agencies.
The business includes the company's yoghurt brand as well as its proposed milk and cheese product innovations.
Yeo Valley moved into Chick Smith Trott without a pitch in early 2005. Previously, the company's advertising was handled by FCB, which won the business in 2004.
This was the first time Yeo Valley had used a dedicated advertising agency, having previously produced all of its advertising in-house.
Progress, the media agency set up by the former BBJ directors Geoff Seeley and Tim Elton, handles all of the brand's media duties.
Yeo Valley has sales of £73 million per year, while Muller, the market leader in the yoghurt sector, has sales of £383 million. By 2011, the yoghurt market is expected to be worth £2.25 billion, up 40 per cent on 2005, according to Mintel.
Publicis refused to comment on the win.
