Publicis expands to offer clients PR with Publicis Consultants

Publicis Groupe has launched a UK public relations division called Publicis Consultants.

It will provide public relations support to Publicis clients in the UK and has been formed through the rebranding of Rowland Communications, currently the Saatchi & Saatchi PR arm.

The newly launched company will operate alongside the Publicis creative agency, Publicis Dialog (direct marketing, sales promotion and online) and Publicis Blueprint (customer publishing).

Richard Moss and Richard Stacey will continue to run the 15-strong team, while Tim Lindsay, the chairman of Publicis UK, and Grant Duncan, its chief executive, will oversee the operation.

Duncan said: "Our whole orientation now is to work holistically and with Publicis Consultants we have the final piece to the jigsaw, so are truly capable of delivering the best creative solutions for our clients."

Publicis Consultants was originally launched in Paris in 1993 but has since expanded to nine countries.

The move to include a London office is part of the group's strategy to focus its PR resources on two international networks: Publicis Consultants and Manning Selvage & Lee.
