The Diageo whisky brand kicked off talks with agencies in April about an upcoming digital project. R/GA London will now assist Johnnie Walker on digital and technology briefs.
The move does not affect Anomaly, which works on the above-the-line business. Anomaly won the account in 2014, ending Johnnie Walker’s 15-year relationship with Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
Anomaly has created several online films for the brand starring Jude Law. In 2015, the shop developed a global campaign with the tagline: "Joy will take you further."
Carat holds Diageo’s global media account.
