Radiocentre’s Audio Ad of the Year Award today launches a call for entries to discover the best audio ad of 2023.
Now in its second year, the award - run in partnership with Campaign - celebrates creativity in audio advertising and champions the teams behind the winning work.
The annual contest offers creatives the opportunity to gain recognition for excellence and creativity in audio advertising in the past 12 months.
Entries will be judged by two top creative directors, based on scripting, production, creative execution, memorability and resonance. The judges will then have the difficult task of creating a shortlist of three ads to be profiled in Campaign.
The winner will be chosen by you - the Campaign audience - and announced in Campaign in December.
Lucy Barrett, client director at Radiocentre, said: "We’re delighted to be partnering with Campaign again to celebrate the best in audio advertising. As many studies have shown, there’s a strong link between creative excellence and ad effectiveness. With audiences continuing to grow we hope that championing great audio advertising will inspire brands and agencies to use the medium to its full creative potential.”
To be eligible to enter, work must have featured in an ad break on UK commercial radio at some point during 2023.
