RDP to put advertisers on the cards.

Publisher RDP has signed up several dotcoms to feature in a new marketing initiative.

The scheme, SurfDeck.com, is planned for the new year and will see decks of cards featuring ads sent out to half a million users.

Aimed at driving traffic to their sites, the cards will be mailed typically to ABC1 users from a list supplied by ISP LineOne.

Recipients of the cards can use them to find out additional information about the featured sites, with users being prompted to store the cards next to their PCs. YAC.com is the first to sign up for SurfDeck.com and more companies will be announced soon, including three "household names".
