calls pitch for creative account, one of the UK's biggest recruitment websites, is looking for a creative agency to handle its advertising account.

The site, which is owned by the recruitment agency Reed, has approached five undisclosed agencies for chemistry meetings and will brief them over the next two weeks. Pitches are expected to begin two weeks after that.

Reed, which also has a retail presence of more than 300 offices in the UK, has marked out as its main focus of expansion in the coming year. It is investing heavily in the site, including above-the-line advertising.

It now offers more than 350,000 jobs covering more than 700 roles in 38 different industry sectors, including private, public and voluntary.

The website adds 10,000 new jobs every day and has 1.4 million unique visitors every month, with one million of them applying for jobs.
