REVIEW: Aegis forecasts continued weakness in the industry

Aegis, the media buying group, has cast more gloom over the

advertising sector by forecasting continued weakness in the industry in

2002. It said that the industry had flat to negative growth in 2001

despite some recovery in advertising expenditure in the third and fourth

quarters. But Aegis did state that there were indications that the trend

in client advertising spending has stabilised. - Financial Times.
