REVIEW: Barry Cox of Channel 4 makes case for abolition of licence fee

Barry Cox, the deputy chairman of Channel 4 and the chairman of the digital TV stakeholder's group, has made a case for the abolition of the licence fee. Cox argued that the Government should set up a public service broadcasters' fund, to which all broadcasters would be able to apply for cash. - The Guardian.
