REVIEW: Chrysalis announces jump in advertising revenues
Chrysalis announced a 17 per cent jump in advertising revenues this week, along with growing listening figures at its Heart and Galaxy radio station brands. In the year to August, radio airtime sales were ahead 9.4 per cent compared with a 2 per cent fall for the sector as a whole. Turnover climbed 25 per cent to £241 million, and 2001's pre-tax loss was replaced by a profit of £5.8 million. - General release.
