REVIEW: Government considering plans to invest public money

The Government is considering a plan to invest public money in a TV equivalent of the BBC World Service. Foreign Office officials are looking at ways to turn the BBC's struggling international TV news channel, BBC World, into a global player similar to the World Service radio network. - The Guardian.
