REVIEW: Marketing and advertising news in the week's press

The British Tourist Authority is seeking agencies to develop

international PR and advertising campaigns to run overseas and stem the

decline in tourism in light of the foot and mouth crisis. The tourist

body plans to launch a PR campaign in 27 overseas markets before

releasing an advertising campaign. Agencies will be drawn from the COI

Communications roster and the money will come from both public and

private sources. - General release.
