REVIEW: Marketing and advertising news in the week's press

RTL, the pan-European broadcaster, and Telefonica - the Spanish

telecommunications group which owns Endemol, the Dutch television

company that devised Big Brother - are believed to be exploring a media

deal that would open the way into the Spanish market for RTL. The talks

mark an attempt by Europe's largest fee-to-air broadcaster to harness

the programming of one of Europe's most successful TV producers. -
