REVIEW: Sir Peter Bonfield is to step down

Sir Peter Bonfield, the chief executive of BT, is to step down a

year early as the company comes to the end of a restructure, which has

helped to reduce its debt from £30 billion to £16.5 billion.

Bonfield will receive a pay-off of £1.49 million and BT will

consider both internal and external candidates to replace him. -
