Riso Gallo risotto to host Chef's Table experience

Risotto brand Riso Gallo has partnered with the head chef of the Italian Embassy to create a dining experience in celebration of the brand's 160th birthday.

Danilo Cortellini will serve up a menu in homage to risotto at corporate London cookery school Venturi's Table. Guests will dine at the Chef's Table to witness all the action of the kitchen, where they will sample a tasting menu and take part in a wine pairing session.

The menu will feature multicolour burrata tortellini with Sicilian red prawns and smoked artichoke broth and risotto with braised onion, quail and truffle.

Three sittings have been organised across 26 February, at 6.30pm, 8.15pm and 10pm. Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards bilingual Italian and English Primary School La Scuola a Londra's charity, which helps provide bursaries and access to courses and lessons.
