RKCR/Y&R to launch integrated shop Swarm

James Murphy, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R's chief executive, is expanding the agency by launching a number of group offerings.

His first move will be to open Swarm, an integrated agency, whose founding clients will be Alfa Romeo and the BT business-to-business account.

This will be followed by a number of unconfirmed brand extensions that will financially report into RKCR/Y&R.

WPP picked up the pan- European Alfa Romeo account in December, but couldn't put it straight into RKCR/Y&R because of conflict with its Ford-owned Land Rover account.

Ben Kay and Rupert Williams, RKCR/Y&R's deputy planning director and group account director respectively, will run the operation.
