RKCR/Y&R has been briefed to create a UK TV branding campaign for the business.
It is thought that the campaign will focus on promoting the advantages of gaming and establishing the company's brand.
In the past, the gambling company has run online advertising, created in-house.
However, it is now planning a TV campaign following changes to advertising regulations in 2007, which allowed gambling companies to run ads on TV after the 9pm watershed for the first time.
Last week, the Advertising Standards Authority banned two Ladbrokes ads, created by M&C Saatchi for Ladbrokescasino.com, because they appeared to link gambling to toughness, risk-taking and reckless behaviour.
