Royal British Legion embarks on hunt for direct marketing agency

LONDON The Royal British Legion, the charity that supports those who have served or are serving in the British Armed Forces, is on the hunt for an agency to handle its £6 million direct marketing account.

The charity is compiling a shortlist of agencies, with pitches due to be held at the end of this month. Tangible Response, the incumbent on the account, will repitch.

It's thought that the charity is looking for an agency to help broaden its audience base, specifically targeting a younger audience.

Tangible Response has worked with the Royal British Legion for 11 years. It successfully retained the business in 2003, following a pitch against undisclosed agencies.
