
Rush will develop Mail Online’s commercial strategy in a bid to increase its share of UK ad revenues while deepening relationships with clients.
She starts on 3 November and will report to Melanie Scott, the chief revenue officer at Mail Online UK and rest of the world.
At MEC since 2001, Rush was responsible for the agency’s commercial and investment relationships, as well as leading display trading for MEC.
Scott said: "Having worked with Clare for a number of years, I have witnessed her innate talent to develop relationships first-hand – which will be a great asset."
