Working with Saatchis' worldwide digital creative director, Tom Esligner, Huijbregts will take responsibility for developing a strategic plan for the agency's digital offering. He will report to Simon Francis, the chief executive of Saatchi & Saatchi EMEA.
Huijbregts' remit, which spans all of Saatchis' EMEA offices, also includes training and educating agency staff and clients about the potential opportunities provided by digital communications.
Huijbregts joins Saatchis after three years at Agency.com, where he worked on accounts including T-Mobile and McDonald's.
