Sainsbury's compensates AMV BBDO with £6m Savacentre task

The business will be run by a new AMV group agency--to be called AMV Advance-- a dedicated specialist operation which will handle al the chain's local marketing support from above-the-line work to PR and direct marketing.

The appointment removes question marks over the future relationship between AMV and Sainsbury's after the switch of the TV account to M&C Saatchi in April. But it will be a bitter blow to Clark & Taylor which has handled all local store advertising for Sainsbury's--its biggest client--for 14 years.
