Pulitzer Prize-winning war photographer Manu Brabo portrays the realities of breast cancer in a 13-minute film to support Samsung Spain's ten-year partnership with the Spanish Federation of Breast Cancer.
Brabo is interviewed on camera about his work in conflicts around the world, while his comments are interspersed with patients, their family members, oncologists and medical researchers talking about fighting breast cancer. Viewers quickly begin to see parallels between the two kinds of battle. The campaign by Cheil Spain also includes a book and exhibition of Brabo’s photographs launched this month in Madrid, and Samsung will donate money to FECMA for every download of the book and view of the film. The work was art directed by Diego Rodríguez and Rodrigo Domínguez, written by Cristina Alonso and Elena Hernández, and directed by Borja Larrondo through Lobo Kane.
